The United Way of Clark, Champaign and Madison Counties' Information and Referral is a fully operational 2-1-1 call center, serving Clark and Champaign Counties. What is 2-1-1? 2-1-1 is an easy to remember telephone number that connects people with important community services and resources. It is an essential service, available 24 hours a day,
seven days a week.

I&R provides referrals to not-for-profit programs such as:

Service Clubs

Neighborhood Services

Directory of Community Resources
Our directory is available in two formats. The Directory on disk is a computer program available in Windows format. The program allows users to search by topic, keyword, program, or agency. The Directory of Community Resources is a printed guide to the nonprofit and governmental community. A new directory will be printed in Summer 2006

A trained Family Resource Specialist is available to talk with families and service providers about local resources. This line also serves as the after-hours number to report child abuse or neglect.

Training Opportunities
Information & Referral offers training that will enhance your organization’s knowledge of resources and access to services. The training will be developed to meet the individual needs of agencies. Staff is also available for speaking engagements.
