Sheriff Christopher D. Clark’s Community Education Division is proud to present the Safety Village program in three locations throughout Clark County this June. This educational initiative is designed for children ages 4 to 5 who will be entering kindergarten.
Safety Village offers engaging, age-appropriate instruction on essential safety topics, including:
• Calling 911
• Personal Safety
• Railroad Crossing Awareness
• Stranger Danger
• Street and Traffic Sign Recognition
• Introduction to D.A.R.E. Concepts
• Drug and Poison Awareness
• Fire Safety
• School Bus Safety
• Home Safety
• Pet and Animal Safety
The program runs for four days, with two-hour sessions each day. A special graduation ceremony will be held on the final day to celebrate participants’ learning and achievements.
